Maho Taniguchi-Speller
Associate Therapist
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) in California. I received my M.A. in Counseling from Palo Alto University and specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and relational issues. My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and emotionally focused work for couples.
As a multicultural therapist, I bring a deep understanding of Asian, Hispanic, and American cultural values and dynamics. I provide therapy in English, Spanish, and Japanese, and strive to create a respectful, inclusive space where cultural identity is recognized and honored. I work with teens, adults, couples, and families, helping clients feel seen, understood, and empowered in their healing journey.
