Alicia Sepuveda

Associate Therapist

Alicia Sepulveda, APCC #18435 is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor dedicated to
providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and adults navigating
life’s challenges. She has experience supporting clients with trauma, anxiety, depression,
substance use disorders, and a variety of other mental health concerns.

Alicia earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Counseling Psychology from the University of Phoenix. She completed her clinical practicum at Foundations in Recovery in El Centro, California, where she received comprehensive training in conducting biopsychosocial assessments, completing intake evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing both individual and group psychotherapy.

Alicia believes that therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, authenticity, and respect. She
takes an integrative, client-centered approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
(CBT), person-centered therapy, behavioral interventions, and other evidence-based modalities to
meet each client’s unique needs. Her goal is to help clients gain insight, build resilience,
strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Having worked primarily with children and adults, Alicia understands that every stage of life
presents unique challenges. She strives to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental
environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to work toward their personal
goals.

As a bilingual counselor, Alicia provides therapy in both English and Spanish, offering culturally
responsive and linguistically accessible care to individuals and families from diverse
backgrounds.

Alicia offers both in-person and secure telehealth counseling services, with flexible scheduling
that includes evening and weekend appointments. She is committed to helping clients build on
their strengths, foster resilience, and achieve lasting emotional well-being.
